CIS Annual Meeting
Dear Colleagues:
On behalf of the Clinical Immunology Society (CIS), we invite you to participate in the First CIS Annual Meeting taking place May 20, 2010 at the Sheraton Society Hill in Philadelphia, PA. The meeting will kick off with “Corporate Thursday” on May 20th and will include speakers on new human immunotherapeutics. The first meeting will be held in conjunction with the First North American Primary Immune Deficiency National Conference, May 20-23, 2010.
CIS is the key inter-disciplinary organization for the field of clinical immunology and is devoted to fostering developments in the science and practice of clinical immunology. The mission of CIS is to facilitate education, translational research and novel approaches to therapy in clinical immunology to promote excellence in the care of patients with immunologic/inflammatory disorders.
The First Annual Meeting will have a multi-disciplinary focus on “New Biotherapeutics and Immune Deficiency” and will include thematic sessions on Mucosal Immunology, Cancer Immunotherapy, Dermatology, and New Therapeutics in Autoimmunity. The chairs of the sessions have invited outstanding speakers who are sure to present thought provoking research in their respective fields.
The meeting will conclude with a keynote address from C. Garrison Fathman, MD, CIS Past President, on “The Future of Immunotherapeutics”. The First North American Primary Immune Deficiency National Conference will kick off the same evening with an Opening Session and Reception.
The CIS leadership is excited about the First Annual Meeting and is pleased to be able to bring such accomplished clinical researchers together to present what is sure to be outstanding science. Please join us in Philadelphia and we look forward to seeing you there!
