CIS Partners with IDF

The Clinical Immunology Society (CIS) is looking forward to partnering with the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) on educational initiatives related to SCID. The IDF received a $4 million grant from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to design and implement an advanced screening and education program for people with Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID) in rural areas or underserved communities.
The goal of the two-year program, awarded $2 million each year, is to improve outcomes for infants with SCID.
This is an important collaboration between the two organizations, and will be of great benefit to patients and families with SCID, and the entire primary immunodeficiency community.
