Did you know that the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) is currently accepting applications for the IDF Research Grant Program? The “seed grant” program is intended to encourage and support well-defined research projects that have a specified benefit for improving the treatment, health and diagnosis of individuals with primary immunodeficiency diseases (PI).
The program is open to applicants currently based in the U.S. and will consist of one-year grants. The grants may be awarded in the range of $25,000 to $50,000 (with the availability of a somewhat higher level of support for a few exceptional proposals). The deadline to apply is February 22, 2019. Consideration will also be given to studies that contribute to the body of medical knowledge in PI.
