After over 12 years of having called the Journal of Clinical Immunology (JoCI) the official journal of CIS, our contractual relationship with Springer, the publisher and owner of JoCI, will come to an end on December 31st, 2022.
During this last year we tried to reach a consensus with the publisher that would honor and value CIS’ role and participation in JoCI. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach an agreement so CIS’s Council felt proceeding with this relationship was not in the best interest of CIS or you, our members. This was not an easy decision, and it was not taken lightly, but we are confident that it is the right step moving forward for CIS, our membership and our field as a whole.
As the CIS Council we are very enthusiastic about the possibilities this new scenario is offering us, and in the coming weeks we hope to share with you our plans moving forward.
