2026 Abstracts

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES AND INFORMATION


SUBMISSION TYPES

CIS will accept both abstracts and case reports for the 2026 Annual Meeting. Submitters are required to to indicate which type of submission they have as part of the submission process. If submitting a case report, please indicate if it is a single case or is a case series as part of your abstract text. While addressing the specifics of the case(s) in the abstract, please try to state the broader impact of your work for the field of Clinical Immunology. 

GENERAL SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • All abstracts must be submitted online, via the CIS abstract submission portal.

  • You do not need to be a member of CIS to submit an abstract or case report.

  • Submissions must be no longer than 350 words.

  • CIS does not accept encore or previously presented abstracts as part of the Annual Meeting.

  • No patient photos may be submitted as part of the abstract or case report.

  • Only charts/figures are allowed to be included with submissions. Charts/figures must be uploaded in .doc or .docx format.

  • There is no requirement for formatting of the abstracts beyond what is listed above.

  • If accepted for presentation at the meeting, the abstract will be published as submitted into the 2026 Annual Meeting supplement. However, the Editors reserve the right to edit any abstract that contains grammatical errors.

AUTHOR LISTING

Authors should be listed in the order you would like them published in the Annual Meeting supplement. Each Submitter will be asked to indicate one person as the presenting author for the submission, who will present if the abstract is selected for a poster or oral abstract presentation.

ABSTRACT EDITING

All abstracts will be printed and published as submitted by the author(s). CIS is not responsible for and will not copy edit any abstract submissions. Authors may log into the abstract submission platform and edit their abstract(s) until the close of regular abstract submissions on December 8, 2025. Edits will not be accepted after December 8, 2025, and the abstract will be published as it has been submitted.

ABSTRACT WITHDRAWAL/CHANGE OF PRESENTING AUTHOR

If the presenting author is no longer able to present the accepted abstract, please complete this form. Requests for change of presenting author must be received no later than February 27th, 2026.

Abstract Submission will close December 8th at 11:59PM Central Standard Time.
